The Handbook contains a wealth of information about the Association and its affiliated Clubs and Regatta's and the South Coast Championships.

BR Coastal Rowing Championships - in FISA Coastal Boats. 29th/30th July, 2017

British Rowing have advised the Hants & Dorset ARA about the British Rowing Coastal Championships being held at Sandbanks, Poole over the weekend of 29th/30th July, 2017. This is a BR organised event in FISA Coastal Boats - not H&D Coastal Boat - and the event is not endorsed by the Hants & Dorset ARA and is not part of our Regatta program - and actually clashes with the Hants & Dorset Championship Regatta at Poole - which will almost certainly significantly limit the involvment og Hants & Dorset ARA affiliated clubs. However BR have asked if any of the regions clubs would like to be involved either by competing or as volunteers over the weekend to help stage the event. There are more details available on its calendar entry on the home page of the Hants & Dorset ARA Web site - at - www.hdara.co.uk - or from British Rowing. Please note - to compete you HAVE to be at least a GOLD member of British Rowing (£50+) and there will be a hire fee for the FISA Coastal boats and an entry fee to be paid.
